About the role:
We are looking for a Regional Administration Manager (RAM) to join our regional team. You will report to the Lead Union Organiser (LO) in your region. The role manages the administration staff, processes and resources in the region to support union goals.
• Participate in regional planning with Lead Organisers
• Manage all administrative activities for regional offices (including Palmerston North, New Plymouth, Wellington and Napier)
• Ensure that travel and accommodation for staff and union members is arranged
• Prepare and arrange meetings, security, cleaning, IT and digital support and resource production in regional offices
• Supervise, coach and develop staff
• Ensure that the offices within your region are efficiently run and equipped with necessary resources
• Set and monitor budgets
• Ensure that information about members within your region is accurate and current
Skills and experience
• Experience with Microsoft 365 – you will be inducting new kaimahi into using it.
• Demonstrated line management experience
• Confidence in learning and applying new software, such as software to arrange meetings and our Client Relations Manager (CRM) that records information about our membership
• Relevant work experience
