Our Field Officers connect campaign and organising strategies within their region to support members’ industrial and professional goals.

Tasks are varied and include:

Planning for regular contact and visibility for your assigned worksites / member groups
Developing leaders from within membership
Using knowledge of education sector or union organising to support members

In this role you will learn a lot about how organising and campaigning is converted into activity in the field. This role involves regular travel around Waikato and Bay of Plenty.

NZEI Te Riu Roa is committed to upholding the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Candidates should either have or be committed to developing an understanding of Te Tiriti.
