NZEI Te Riu Roa principal and teacher members will be meeting with their newly elected School Boards to start the conversation about staffing issues in our primary and intermediate schools and the pathway to fully staffed schools. As a result of area school principals’ strong rejection of the offer to settle our collective agreement, the Ministry has made a second offer. We will discuss and vote on whether to accept it in the new year.
