Providing rapid advice to support a team answering incoming queries.

Tasks are varied and include:

Representing members on cases that go before professional and employment bodies
Supporting colleagues with technical advice
Contributing to NZEI Te Riu Roa’s planning for campaigns and organising activity.

In this role you will experience a variety of work such as answering quick questions, managing cases through professional investigations/tribunals, and supporting members through challenging times in their working/professional life.

Working closely with the Director of Legal and Compliance you will also provide input on legislation and legislative change that could impact on NZEI Te Riu Roa members.

You may attend disciplinary tribunals, meetings and related events so some travel is required.

We really value great ideas and enthusiasm and look forward to hearing from you about the skills you can bring to this role.
