Former full members are eligible to become honorary members of NZEI Te Riu Roa and as such are eligible to continue membership of the Health Care + (previously known as Education Benevolent Society or EBS Healthcare) if applicable.
Honorary members may attend and speak at meetings of their branch but they may not vote. Should an honorary member return to work in any capacity in a position covered by NZEI Te Riu Roa then full membership is required once again.
